We ran a 3A station this year, 3 operators, 3 stations, running with no commercial power and all QRP rigs. Thanks to Jerry and Mac for stopping by - hope you can join us at our next event! I will include a few photos from field day.
It sure does. You had excellent results. The few contacts that I was able to log took an average of 10 attempts each to get a confirmed QSO. I learned quite a lot from the experience - both in how to operate during a very busy time - and with the technical aspects of my station.
Fun time!!! Working QRP is hard work in those kind of conditions but persistence pays off. Can't wait till next year.
